Emerging from the limitations of today’s wearables—where conventional sensors struggle to capture the full spectrum of muscle activity for real-time guidance—this conceptual “AI Coach Smart Textile” envisions a breathable, high-conductivity fabric that seamlessly integrates next-generation sensing and on-board AI processing. By harnessing advanced electroactive fibers (such as PEDOT-based materials) and distributed, low-power neural network accelerators, the textile can continuously acquire nuanced biomechanical signals. In milliseconds, embedded AI algorithms interpret these signals and deliver tailored, sport-specific feedback—ranging from haptic cues to voice prompts—empowering athletes with immediate, data-driven coaching.

The project is designed to anticipate breakthroughs over the next 5–10 years, this solution aims to offer a new paradigm in human performance enhancement, shifting from sporadic post-hoc analysis to an immersive, real-time, and truly personalized training experience.
